Saudi envoy see off first batch of Hajj pilgrims to Makkah || இலங்கையின் முதல் ஹஜ் குழு புறப்பட்டது- வழியனுப்பிய சவூதி தூதுவர்

The first batch of Sri Lankan Hajj pikgrims left for Makkah in the early hours of Tuesday,June 21.The pikgrims were seen off by distinguished guests at the Bandaranaike International Airport here.

Ambassador Khaled bin Hamoud Al-Kahtani, attended the send-off ceremony of the first group of Sri Lankan Hajj pilgrims consisting of 68 pilgrims, in the presence of Vidura Wickremanayake, Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs, along with the Chairman of the Hajj Committee of Sri Lanka, Ibrahim Sahib Ansar and officials of the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

The envoy congratulated the Kingdom’s guests, the Sri Lankan pilgrims, enlightening that the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince pays great attention to the pilgrims of the Grand Mosque of Mecca, as the Kingdom has taken all measures to ensure the comfort of the pilgrims and complete the religious obligation with ease and grace.

The ambassador also praised the level of coordination and cooperation between the Embassy, Ministry of Religious Affairs and officials of the Hajj Committee of Sri Lanka .regarding Hajj arrangements for Sri Lankan pilgrims.

The chairman of the All Ceylon Hajj Tour Operators Association. Rizmy Reyal and Hajj Operators Association chairman Badurdeen Mohammed Careem and Haj Committee member Milfer Gaffoor were also present at the event .

Saudi Ambassador told Colombo Times that this year his government has allocated a quota of 3,500 pilgrims for Sri Lanka and the last flight from Colombo will leave for Jeddah on June 10.

The following airlines will ferry the Lankan pikgrims this year ; Qatar Airways, Etihad Airways, Gulf Airways,Emirates ,Airport Arabia ,Salam Air and SriLankan Airlines

68 இலங்கை யாத்ரிகர்களை உள்ளடக்கிய இலங்கையின் முதல் ஹஜ் யாத்ரிகர்கள் குழுவிற்கான பிரியாவிடை நிகழ்வு இன்று (21) செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை காலை, பண்டாரநாயக்கா சர்வதேச விமான நிலையத்தில் தூதுவர் காலித் ஹமூத் அல்-கஹ்தானி அவர்களின் தலைமையில் இடம்பெற்றது.

இந்நிகழ்வில் புத்தசாசன, சமய மற்றும் கலாசார அலுவல்கள் அமைச்சர் விதுர விக்ரமநாயக்க, இலங்கை ஹஜ் கமிட்டியின் தலைவர் இப்ராஹிம் சாஹிப் அன்சார் உள்ளிட்ட சமய விவகார அமைச்சின் அதிகாரிகள் என பலர் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.

அங்கு தூதுவர் அவர்கள் இராச்சியத்தின் விருந்தினர்களாகச் செல்லும் இலங்கை யாத்ரீகர்களை வாழ்த்தியதோடு, இரு புனிதஸ்தலங்களினதும் பாதுகாவலர் மன்னர் சல்மான் பின் அப்துல் அசீஸ் மற்றும் பட்டத்து இளவரசரும் பிரதம மந்திரியுமான முகமத் பின் சல்மான் அவர்களது அரசாங்கம் அல்லாஹ்வின் வீட்டிற்கு வருகைதரும் யாத்ரிகர்களுக்கு அதிக முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுக்கிறது என்றும், அவர்களின் வசதியை உத்தரவாதப்படுத்துவதற்கும், தமது ஹஜ் கிரியைகளை மிகவும் எளிதாக நிறைவேற்றுவதற்கும் தேவையான அனைத்து நடவடிக்கைகளையும் எடுத்துள்ளதாகவும் தெரிவித்தார்.

தூதுவர் மேலும் கூறுகையில், இலங்கை ஹஜ் யாத்ரிகர்களுக்கான ஏற்பாடுகள் மற்றும் ஒருங்கிணைப்பு தொடர்பில், சமய பண்பாட்டு அலுவல்கள் அமைச்சு மற்றும் இலங்கை ஹஜ் குழுவின் அதிகாரிகள் தூதரகத்திற்கு வழங்கிய ஒத்துழைப்பு பாராட்டுக்குரியது என்றார்.
